Help Wanted

Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.” John 16:7

Dear Family and Friends,

Have you ever walked by a storefront and seen a sign in the window that says, “help wanted”? Every one of us at one time or another, just like businesses, needs an experienced helper to come along and fill in. The Apostle John reminded that one reason for Jesus’ earthly ministry coming to a close was so the Helper (Comforter) could come. The disciples, if they it had been their choice, would’ve kept Jesus with them for the rest of their lives. But our wise God knew what was best – an ever-present helper for each individual believer! The indwelling Holy Spirit gives wisdom for life choices, supernatural energy for ministry and so much more. We are never without assistance…why not ask Him right now for help!
